“Every individual has the right to dream, aspire, and achieve. Disability is just a state of mind, not a limitation.”In the heart of our vast nation, India, lies a diverse tapestry of talents, dreams, and hopes. Yet, a significant portion of our society, the differently-abled or ‘Divyang’, often faces barriers that keep them from realising their potential fully. We believe that these barriers need to be dismantled – not only because it’s the right thing to do but because our nation becomes stronger when everyone is included.
The numbers don’t lie
As of 2021, over 2.68 crore differently-abled people reside in India (as per the Census).Only around 1% of the Divyang are employed in the formal sector.
Studies suggest that the employment of differently-abled people can add up to 5-7% to our country’s GDP. We’re here to change these statistics.
DivyangCareers.com
DivyangCareers.com was born from the passion and vision of a group of inspired high school students who recognized the potential within every individual, regardless of their physical or mental challenges. We embarked on this journey with a mission: to provide a dedicated platform for our Divyang brothers and sisters to showcase their talents, skills, and aspirations; and to bridge the gap between them and the organisations that value diversity, inclusivity, and innovation.
DivyangCareers.com proudly aligns with the UN’s SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities. We aim to empower and promote the social, economic, and political inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, economic or other status.
